Fest #2 Saturday Dyno Day Photo Gallery
In
only its 2nd year as an annual event VWFixx Fest went
from a good sized show at a state park to a full blown
event at the drag strip. The show pulled in about
500+ cars and over 1200 people. With the show
and shine flow of the show everyone had a great time
whether it was chilling with the parked cars, drag racing
or hanging out with the various sponsors attending the
show. In addition to the action at the track on
Sunday there was a dyno day on Saturday at RevXtreme
in East tampa. About 12 cars got to dyno and everyone
had a great time. Pictures from the dyno day are
listed above. A full write up will be posted soon
with all the numbers and details on the dyno day.
Some
of the highlights of the show included Chris Green of
Unforgettable Sound and Performance racing his mk3 Jetta VR6 turbo and
putting down a 10.10 @ 143mph!!!
The first 10 second VW the majority of the
crowd had ever seen! The winner of the $200 cash
prize (courtesy of FixxTuning) for the fastest non-sponsored
VW/Audi went to Kevin (20v-Turbo) from Delray Beach Floruda in his 2003 Big Turbo GTi 20AE.
Kevin ran a 12.7 @ 114!! Congrats again (see pic below).

Motorsports made the trek all the way down from Canada
to attend and showcased their twin-turbo kit for the
R32. All of the major chip tuners were in attendance
with reps from APR, GIAC, REVO, and Upsolute at
the show. A few dealers also were present with
Suncoast Motorsports of Sarasota and Lokey VW of Clearwater.
TWoody from Wires4Cars was also there from Georgia!
Many thanks goes out to the sponsors without them
the show would not have been possible.
The
show also included goodie bags and raffle prizes that
were given away at the end of the show! Event

We
can now only wait until next year when VWFixx Fest #3
2006 will
surely be even bigger and better!
